California Gov. Gavin Newsome is implementing a new law which will permit the hiring of illegal aliens as police officers. The law says that an applicant for law enforcement need not be a citizen or a green card holder–as was the case in the past. Now the applicant only has to have a work authorization for U.S. employment.
Many illegal aliens who make bogus asylum claims are now receiving these authorizations, as they wait for asylum hearings–where they may or may not show up. Law breakers enforcing the law sounds like a great idea. What could go wrong?
