AIC Foundation is sad to note the passing of John Clark. A native of San Francisco, John was employed by AIC Foundation for many years. He was a tireless worker and a committed patriot. He viewed mass immigration, particularly unchecked illegal immigration, as a threat to America as a united country under the rule of law. He once said that he was deeply moved when reading accounts of the hardships endured by pioneers who make their way to California during the 19th century. He said, “We owe it to them to keep the country that they suffered so much to build.”
John had a remarkable talent for getting to know influential people and educating them about immigration. He organized rallies around the country, sometimes in the face of hostile protesters. John was a key player in AIC Foundation’s campaign to create video documentaries of America’s immigration crisis. One more than one occasion, he placed himself in potentially dangerous situations to obtain footage for the documentaries. For years, he hosted a radio program called “America Betrayed,” which had guests who discussed immigration, including AIC Foundation President John Vinson.
In his latter years, John was in great discomfort and pain from numerous health issues. Nevertheless, he always maintained an upbeat attitude and a good sense of humor. John is gone, but he will still live on as an inspiration for patriotic immigration reform.
