House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) stated that President Biden needs to do a better job of securing the Mexican border. It appears that she’s hearing complaints from Democratic mayors who are having to deal with illegal aliens showing up in their cities.
Pelosi offered what she believes is the best solution. The House Speaker stated: It’s a new phenomenon. The answer to almost every problem is to have comprehensive immigration reform. We can’t get that under the present set of circumstances. Short of that though, we’ll have to address the issue.”
The term “comprehensive reform” is a euphemism amnesty advocates commonly use to describe amnesty and path to citizenship for illegal aliens. Pelosi didn’t explain how rewarding illegal immigration would help to deter it.
