Though the NYC mayor has complained bitterly about the busloads of migrants being dropped off there courtesy Texas and Arizona, nevertheless city officials are showering their new residents with enough gifts to put the Welcome Wagon to shame.
Breitbart is reporting that an event on Sunday at a city hospital provided recent illegal border crossers free healthcare, free cellphones, free food, free library cards, and free school supplies. This largesse is in addition to the 6,000 luxury hotel rooms that have been reserved free of charge for illegals by the city, in the face of skyrocketing rents for lowly citizens.
Not to be outdone by the public sector, Catholic Charities says it will give school-age migrants scholarships at expensive private schools.
Meanwhile, Washington keeps telling prospective migrants, “Don’t come [wink, wink].”
