Tom Homan, the former acting director of ICE, says the morale of Border Patrol agents is “in the tank” and “non-existent” as our southern border continues to spin out of control. He predicts that the figures for this year’s illegal crossings “will blow last year’s figures out of the water.” Homan maintains that “[Border Patrol agents] feel abandoned by the president of the United States and the secretary of Homeland Security.”
