As record numbers of illegal aliens continue to flood across the Mexican border, DHS Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas was called to testify before the House Judiciary Committee. In his testimony under oath Mayorkas tried to minimize the crisis.
Rep. Michael Guest (R-MS) then asked him “Are you testifying as you sit here today that the Southwest border is secure?” Mayorkas then replied “Yes, I am.” He also claimed that DHS has “operational control over the southern border.”
