The U.S. Border Patrol “encountered” more than 7,000 illegal migrants on Tuesday of this week alone. That is more than twice the daily average in early June, shortly after the expiration of Title 42, when about 3,400 were coming over every day.
Those “mere” three thousand plus were widely celebrated by the administration and led to widescale bragging that the “border is closed!” That was a joke. Even at that level, 3,400 per day extrapolated to a year would mean 3,400 x 365 = 1,241,000 in just one Biden year. A full four-year presidential term would bring in almost five million.
At Tuesday’s level, we would see nearly ten million, more than the population of Virginia, more than that of New Jersey, indeed more than all but ten states in the union. We don’t know how many they’re actually letting in, because they won’t tell us, but you can be sure they’re admitting (“parolling,” etc) all they can.
This kind of border erasure is nothing less than wholesale surrender to the third world.
