Senate Republicans have given in to the Democrats’ demand that they pass a bill funding the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) without defunding the Obama Administration’s unconstitutional amnesty edicts. The GOP senators say they will offer a separate bill for defunding, but that bill will provide little leverage against the administration. Senate Democrats also demand that House Republicans go along with full funding of DHS, including money to carry out the edicts.
