Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC), the Senate’s leading GOP advocate for amnesty and mass immigration, on Wednesday said he will offer legislation to give legal status to the illegal aliens previously given work permits and stays of deportation by Obama executive order: “I’m going to introduce legislation with my Democratic colleagues and my Republican colleagues that would continue the legal status of the DACA kids, he told reporters.
President-elect Trump pledged during the campaign to nix Obama’s executive orders, including the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA).
“If he [Trump] repeals it then we ought to immediately pass legislation to extend their legal status,” Sen. “Gramnesty” said.
