An initiative to overturn Oregon’s sanctuary law protecting illegal aliens has qualified for the November ballot. If it prevails, it would be the first time such a law has been repealed. Californians tried last year to place an anti-sanctuary initiative on their state’s ballot, but their effort failed to gain the required number of signatures.
