Judge Blocks Travel Ban — Again

Once again a federal judge has blocked President Trump’s travel ban on people from countries with ties to terrorism. The pretext for the ruling is that the ban is anti-Muslim. The ban includes only eight countries, thus excluding most Muslim countries. One of the eight countries, North Korea, is non-Muslim.

White House spokeswoman Sarah Huckabee said the ruling was “dangerously flawed” and “undercuts the president’s efforts to keep the American the American people safe.” She added, “We are are therefore confident that the judiciary will ultimately uphold the president’s lawful and necessary actions and swiftly restore its vital protections for the safety of the American people.”
