House Passes Pro-Enforcement Bills

The House of Representatives passed two bills to promote enforcement against illegal immigration. One, named Kate’s Law, would increase penalties against illegal aliens who, after being deported, try to return of the United States. The other would deny federal grants to sanctuary cities, i.e, those which refuse to cooperate with federal immigration law enforcement.
