One study indicates that stricter enforcement of immigration laws under the Trump Administration is causing illegal aliens to “self-deport,” i.e., go home on their own rather than deal with the pressure of added enforcement. Self-deportation is the answer to the claim of illegal alien advocates that we must grant amnesty because rounding up 11 million illegal immigrants is an impossible task. Arrest and deport some of them, and the rest will get the message and go home on their own.
