DHS Proposes New Family Rules

The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) has proposed a new rule which would allow children of illegal aliens to be detained with their parents. The proposal would supersede the 2015 court ruling that requires the children be released after 20 days. That ruling encouraged illegal aliens to bring children, sometimes not their own, in hope that they would would be released after 20 days along with the children.
