The percentage of the U.S. population that is white has decreased from 79.6% in 1980 to 61.9% in 2014, while the Hispanic percentage has risen from 6.4% to 17.3% over the same time period. There are growing signs that the rate of change is increasing, according to a new study from the University of New Hampshire.
