TownHall columnist Kurt Schlichter maintains that America’s economic, political, and media elites promote mass immigration in order to feel morally superior to other Americans. As they do so, their privileged positions keep them from having to suffer the disadvantages of immigration such as culture-clash and unemployment. Evidently they don’t view patriotism and solidarity with their fellow Americans as a moral virtue.
