House Speaker John Boehner (R-OH) still has hope that the House will pass “immigration reform,” the term amnesty advocates use to describe amnesty. But Boehner warned that this will be difficult if President Obama goes ahead and tries to proclaim amnesty by edict. That, said Boehner, would “poison the well” for legislative amnesty.
