Organisations funded by the billionaire Koch brothers have denounced President Trump’s proposal to prevent immigrants from settling in the U.S. who are likely to go on welfare. A spokesman for one of these groups, Freedom Partners, said that allowing likely welfare recipients to settle was “morally right.”
The Koch brothers support mass immigration to provide cheap labor for business interests. Immigrants getting welfare allows employers to pay them lower wages. Welfare for immigrants is a tax-paid subsidy for business.
