California Attorney General Kamala Harris, a Democratic candidate for the U.S. Senate, pandering to the far left and the Hispanic bloc vote, this week declared “an undocumented immigrant is not a criminal.” While the statement is false, since illegally entering and remaining in the U.S. is a federal crime, as a practical matter it may as well be true with President Obama refusing to enforce the immigration laws and leftist politicians like Kamala Harris in control of government in California.
