A common claim of immigration advocates is that there are many jobs Americans won’t do. A study by the Center for Immigration Studies shows otherwise. The study, based on government statistics, notes that “Of the 474 civilian occupations, only six are majority immigrant (legal and illegal). These six occupations account for one percent of the total U.S. workforce. Moreover, native-born Americans still compromise 46 percent of workers in these occupations.”
