SPLC Spreads Falsehoods

More Misinformation in Print:

The Federation of American Immigration Reform (FAIR) announced that it would hold its “10th annual Hold Their Feet to the fire radio row broadcast in Washington,” on June 22 and 23. In previous years FAIR has hosted speakers at the event who have used their own shows to push anti-immigrant and anti-Muslim sentiment. In addition, the Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC) has designated FAIR as a hate group whose founder “has expressed his wish that America remain a majority-white population.” – Hate Group FAIR Hosting Annual Event with Anti-Immigrant Radio Hosts, Media Matters for America, 6/21/16

Fact Check:  Media Matters is a radical leftist organization which has received funding from George Soros, the billionaire currency speculator who bankrolls movements to undermine national sovereignty. Like many leftist groups, it cites the SPLC as a supposedly reliable and objective source of information. Nothing could be further from the truth.

The SPLC essentially is a neo-communist organization which employs the Marxist tactic of smear and character assassination to attack those it opposes. In doing so it follows the advice of Soviet dictator Vladimir Lenin: “We can and must write in a language which sows among the masses hate, revulsion, and scorn against those who disagree with us  must sow among the masses hatred, revulsion and scorn toward those who disagree with us.”

This organization particularly despises immigration restrictionists. This is because radical leftists see mass immigration as a way to destabilize American society and pave the way for revolution, a strategy exposed in William Hawkins Book, Importing Revolution.  Commonly, as does the SPLC, they demonize patriotic Americans who want less immigration as “haters” and restrictionist organizations as “hate groups.”

Someone who questions an end to America’s white majority may not be motivated by racial animus. Such a person might view change of this magnitude as destabilization which will harm all groups in America. Radical leftists won’t concede such a possibility because, once again, upheaval is what they want. By labeling proponents of order and reasonable levels of immigration as “haters” they divert attention away from their own malice and devious schemes.

A common practice of the SPLC is to call groups it hates “hate groups.” In a great many cases this labeling is quite dishonest, and it reflects the SPLC contempt for the freedoms most Americans uphold. The term “hate group” for most people evokes images of lawlessness and violence. But many of the groups the SPLC labels in such fashion, like FAIR, are responsible law-abiding organizations. This is the dishonesty. The hostility to freedom is evident from the fact that the SPLC sends its list of “hate groups” to police agencies around the country. The clear intent is to incriminate law-abiding people with law enforcement. (For documentation about SPLC, see here and here.)

The totalitarian mindset of the SPLC also is evident in the statement of its spokesman Mark Potok that the goal of his organization is “to destroy” immigration restriction groups. Potok has given congenial interviews with radical-left neo-communist organizations. On one occasion the SPLC interviewed Bill Ayers as a supposed “teacher of tolerance.” Ayres is an unrepentant communist terrorist who conducted bombings during the Sixties.

Unfortunately, it is not just fellow extremists who cite the SPLC as a legitimate source of information. Many outlets of the “mainstream” media so as well. That truly reflects on their bias, indifference to truth, and lack of professional standards.
