Zuckerberg Produces More Amnesty Propaganda

“As a nation, we have a choice to make. We can try to deport them [illegal aliens]: it would take years, cost more than $300 billion, hurt our economy, and tear hard-working families apart.” — Line from a TV ad created by FWD.us and Americans for a Conservative Direction, created by Facebook billionaire Mark Zuckerberg.

Fact Check: Zuckerberg remains as determined as ever to promote amnesty. To achieve what appears to be his primary goal of importing more foreign labor for the tech industry, he is working in alliance with amnesty supporters for a comprehensive bill which will achieve both goals.

The Zuckerberg ad is aimed at deceiving conservatives in to believing that amnesty for illegal aliens must pass because there is no practical alternative to it. That simply isn’t true. We don’t need to do a mass round up of illegal aliens, and even if we did it wouldn’t cost $300 billion. That is a highly suspect figure, one which comes from the radical-left Center for American Progress. Founded by Bill Clinton’s former chief of staff, John Podesta, the organization is heavily bankrolled by globalist billionaire George Soros who basically wants open borders.

Instead of mass round ups, a feasible option is the strategy of “attrition through enforcement.” It consists of slowly but surely tightening immigration law enforcement, so that it will become increasingly difficult for illegal aliens to live and work in the United States. As time goes on, more and more of them will simply go home on their own, a process which may be described as “self-deportation.” Yes, this might take years, but it’s better to begin now rather than later when the population of illegal residents may grow even greater than it is now.

A slow but steady movement of illegal aliens going back home would not hurt or disrupt our economy. In fact it would help the economic prospects of many American workers by giving them access to jobs now occupied by unauthorized workers.

Most inaccurate too is the claim in the ad that immigration law enforcement “breaks up families,” a manipulative appeal often used by illegal alien advocates. If an illegal alien has family members in the U.S., and has to return home, there is nothing to stop him from taking them back with him. If he chooses not to do so, then it is he who is “breaking up” his family.

The ad concludes by stating “it’s time to fix our broken immigration system” by legalizing illegal aliens. Actually it’s time to fix the system, and the first step toward doing that is a firm commitment by Congress never to pass another amnesty.
