President Obama has kept one promise: his administration only deports illegals if they are convicted criminals or repeat immigration violators, shows a report released Thursday from the pro-alien Migration Policy Institute. The report found that 95% of the illegals deported from 2009 to 2013 met those Obama priorities, meaning that only about 77,000 of the 1.6 million illegal aliens removed by ICE over the last five years were rank-and-file illegals without known prior criminal history.
The MPI researchers noted that the “humane” Obama non-enforcement policy that reduced the “climate of fear and uncertainty” had added to the total illegal immigrant population by nearly eliminating the risk that most illegals will be deported.
